History: The NY Giants began play in 1925 and were one of the more successful teams in the early days of the NFL having appeared in 9 NFL title games in their first 22 seasons. They were coached for 17 of those years by Pro Football Hall of Fame player/coach Steve Owen. The G-Men have won 4 NFL Championships (pre-Super Bowl era) and 4 Super Bowl titles in their storied history. In addition to Owen, other Pro Football Hall of Fame players and coaches include Mel Hein, Sam Huff, Y.A. Tittle, Frank Gifford, Rosey Brown, Lawrence Taylor, Harry Carson, Michael Strahan, and Bill Parcells to name a few.
